Other critques complained about no business card pocket on the opposite side of the case. I chosed this case because it was not a portfolio, nor a business card holder, or anything other than a simple, leather iPad case. When I close my iPad, I did not want anything from the opposing side of the case to scratch or touch my screen. This case has a soft leather feel on the inside that protects the iPad and a elegant chocolate leather look on the outside. The shoulder strap is a bit much, but there if I choose to snap on the strap. Otherwise, the strap had to come off - Ms. Kitty loved playing with the dangling strap. The simplicity of this leather case sold me.
