Beware of buying ANHUB!!
I bought recently a "New ANHUB Freescale IMX 8" and has been a bad experience, with both, the product and "support" of A2A World Chinese.
My experience with the specifications of the ANHUB was the follows:
1. "Storage Expansion: microSD Slot". Never recognized the SD that I installed
2. "Screen: 8" TFT Touchscreen Display". Touchscreen? Is that "touch"? The screen is very hard, as they often do not recognize the command and to turn it on you have to press hard for the bar reaches the point home.
3. "Screen Resolution: 1024 x 600". The Apad that i received only has 800 x 600 resolution.
4. "I/O Ports: OTG USB Port". Only served to connect the keyboard and nothing else. The PC do not recognize the ANHUB. A2A World never understood my questions and gave me no support
5. "Multimedia: Video Player (MP4, MKV, DIVX, AVI)". I Load my videos in the SD and I could never see them, to start ANHUB never recognized the SD. How am I supposed to upload my videos? Neither the manual says (A very basic manual) nor they tell me.
6. "Other features include full Flash 10.1 support". I try to navigate on to pages with flahs video and the device can't reconoce the swf videos. I was try to download the Flash software in the app market, but the ANHUB don't accept it.After 15 days, the ANHUB stopped working, I sent them a lot of messages and pictures indicating my problem and they never understood that the ANHUB won't turn on. The first answer was:
"Have you recharged it? I wish these will help you! John ANHUB Technical Support Team"
Is it that in China happens a lot that the users don't know that what has a battery must be recharged? Of course it was charged!!!
At the end the answer of them was:
"Please return the item,if true,we will refound you."
If true?? Is obviously that ANHUB thinks the worst of their customers.
Now it turns out that besides I've paid more than three hundred dollars for an equipment that doesn't work, I have to spend more money sendind them the equipment for them to determine if it is true.
Amazon: Why do you allow this type of treatment to your customers? I rely on Amazon not ANHUB, please do not let these situations under your brand.
