(More customer reviews)This screen protector is horrible. As much as I paid for the X61, I wanted to protect the screen and keep the smudge marks at bay. I figure this screen protector from Boxwave was the solution. It was NOT.
Problems:
- I think they call this anti-glare because you not only dont get any glare in the sun, you also dont get your screen. In sunlight, the screen is virtually impossible to see with the screen protector on.
- The company claims this is super clear. It is not, After applying the screen protector you will notice a considerable drop in brightness. The screen also appears to have to have this vertical line pattern all over. Extremely annoying when in tablet mode and you are close to the screen. Not so much of any issue from far away.
- I managed to get all the air bubbles out, but it takes a very long time and very difficult to do. they instructions make it sound like its easy.
- FORGET about trying to re-apply it if you ever take it off. The instructions say you just wash it off and reapply. NO - DO NOT DO THIS. The adhesive is not the same the second time around. It's sticky, blurry, and makes an absolute mess.
I would recommend avoiding this product. $40 for this an absolute rip off.
