(More customer reviews)I purchased this item after hearing Andy Ihnatko's pick/review on MacBreak Weekly. I have been using the Apple designed cases on two iPads and while they did the job I was never totally satisfied with the material and design. Seven months later and after a lot of use small parts of the cases are delaminating. The Scosche doubleDUTY Leather case is a more finely finished product made with good materials and refined engineering. For typing it is just as good as the Apple case but for reading it is vastly superior providing a variety of angles which is particularly handy if you use the iPad in lots of different lighting arrangements. You can find an angle to diminish any screen reflection/glare problem. I use the Moshi iVisor AG matte screen protectors (which are wonderful for bubble free glare reduction) and found no conflict between the clips which secure the edges of the iPad and the Moshi laminate. I have stopped using the Apple cases altogether. The only downside of the Scosche which might be a consideration for some is that it weighs a bit more than the Apple case so for using it one-handed you notice the difference and it is somewhat thicker. Those two aspects don't detract from all the positives for me.
