(More customer reviews)People who consider this tablet just for the price, beware of what you are buying. The two main problems plus a few minor ones with this design are as follows:
1) It uses an inferior resistive touch screen design that forces you to use your finger nails as opposed to sensing your finger tips to move the icons/etc around. This limits the applications for this tablet such as games (with a lot of character motion), looking at pictures and making them bigger/smaller, reading books etc. This will also reduce the effect of the virtual keyboard for entries and almost forces you to use and external keyboard and mouse using the USB drives. The whole purpose of having a tablet is to avoid the external peripherals and make it light to carry around not to mention its just not cool!!.
2) The pixel count is 1020x600 which in theory is not bad but the back lighting of the display makes it look dull and dark. It just doesn't have the brightness that one looks for in the tablet/phones made by a good manufaturer.
3) The HDMI output supports only 720p not 1080p.
4) Internal memory is only 1Gb contrary to 2Gb stated since the operating system is using up the memory. You are forced to buy SDRAM cards which is extra.
5) The graphics engine and the 1Ghz processor although spec'd at high speed, do not seem to support fast operations such as games and internet access.
6) A 1.3 Megapixel camera is really only good for poor quality web connection. For a good picture you need at least a 5 megapixel camera.
Overall, I would wait for a better design. Also if you really want to put up with these short comings, you can get this same tablet for $179 at other sites not listed.
