I was searching for an easy-to-use, sturdy, lightweight, padded, firm case for my iPad, something that wouldn't necessarily shout out "Hey, there's an iPad in here!" I think this is the case. Good padding, with one side (the side you should have the screen facing when you insert it) having a stiff insert, to give additional support and protection to the screen. Inner lining is very soft. Description says it fits snugly, and it does - VERY snugly. But it'll never fall out of the case. Good soft handle that's part of the body of the case, so you won't have to worry about the handle falling off. It looks like it'll repel a light rain, and it looks very cool and yet unobtrusive at the same time. I had just bought a case for less than half the price of this case, but as soon as I saw this case at the Apple Store and tried it out, I saw it fit exactly what I was looking for. I don't regret the price at all. When you find the perfect case for your electronics - something that protects them, looks good, and is easy to open and close - it's worth the price. I bought an inCase sleeve for my MacBook 3 years ago, and use it all of the time. It still looks new, protects the MB extremely well, and has been great to use. I feel that this Speck case will be the same for my iPad.
