(More customer reviews)First, please note that the body shield is the only thing that is matte and not the shield for the touch screen. So if you were looking for that don't bother with this or any of SGP's other products since all of their touch screen shields are glossy.
Next, this thing has crappy instructions. Except for the touch screen, iPad back, the apple logo and home button, you would never figure out where any of this stuff goes! I would recommend going to SGP's site, reviewing their Diagram and installation video. This is located [...]
Touchscreen shield was simple enough. The two green tabs must be peeled back in order to expose the shield. It is that exposed side which is applied to the screen. I would also recommend a can of air spray to remove dust particle since it's a pain to remove them after you've applied it.
Referring back to the diagram on SPGs site, strips numbers 2, 3, 5, and 6 are long and will either overlap one another or cover important parts of your ipad such as the microphone. I used an exacto balde to make adjustments. I would also recommend some tweezers when applying the leaf for the apple logo (#10) and the home button (#11).
I think having so many small pieces and inadequate instructions takes away from a more favorable rating and review. It would be nice if the back shield enveloped the sides rather than having to put on strips for coverage.
Lastly and more importantly, pay attn to the diagram on the site. If you have a 3g unit, the small strips go on a little differently.
Knowing what I know now, I prob would have seriously considered other products than this.
