1. ipad leans back a little too far for me. You can adjust but you can get it quite right.
2. can't use it in portrait (normal way with button at the bottom) with the synch cable.
I bought this as a cheap travel stand to stick in my breifcase so it does what it should and for the $$$ I'm not worried about leaving it somewhere.
