(More customer reviews)Unfortunately I did not read the existing reviews close enough and when I received it I thought that the case was manufactured incorrectly. As a matter of fact, I still think it's wrong, but more of that to come. After looking at the case I called Amazon and described what I felt was a problem with the manufacture of that particular cover. They were apologetic and very efficient and sent out a new case that arrived the next day. Great service! Unfortunately, the case that arrived was the same as the first one. Hmmmmm. The case is actually beautifully made with a faux-suede interior lining. Very rich dark chocolate color leather with contrasting stitching. Looks as good as any high end day timer that I've owned. Now here's the downside. As far as I am concerned, a portfolio such as this should have its 'beauty' side on top. That would be the side with the nice vertical stitching and the clasp. Then when you close the case the tab would be sticking up on the right and would neatly slip into the loop on the front. Nope. The tab slips BEHIND the cover on the right. Everyone I've handed the case to with the iPad in it and asked them to look at the iPad has held the case 'wrong' side up and opened it finding the iPad on the left and the cardholders on the right and upside down. Oh well, I've said my piece, but other than what I believe to be a design flaw, it's a beautifully done case.
