(More customer reviews)This card fitted into an old Dell Inspiron laptop perfectly well. Installation required only lifting the laptop keyboard and inserting the card. The laptop is running Ubuntu Linux and this was the main reason to go with Intel chipset for the wifi card. It was recognized automatically in OS, which means driver is included in Ubuntu 8.2. Network configuration GUI tool allows simple connection to any available b- or g-wireless network. Certainly can recommend to any Dell owner who needs a miniPCI wireless card, especially running any distribution of Linux.
