(More customer reviews)The adapter is exactly the same as my original. Works fine. While reading reviews on other adapters I noticed concerns with the cords fraying or the adapter getting hot. I never noticed if my old one got hot when in use. This one does get warm. I suspect this is normal. As for the cords fraying I think that be may be due to something like rolling them up tight so they bend sharply at the strain relief. This is where my old one shorted out. Try to avoid bending any power cord where it enters the plug or transformer when you store it and they will last much longer. (keep them straight for a couple of inches before you turn them back toward themselves) Make sure this is the one you need and order it. It should be fine. I would buy from Laptop Parts Plus again.
