(More customer reviews)I just received the Grip Vue case from Amazon. It's a perfect fit for the iPad. The case fits snugly and all of the buttons and controls are accessible. With the Grip Vue on, your iPad will probably not fit into stands, unusual chargers, keyboard docks or other devices. However, the case does not obstruct the Apple connector/charger. That fits just fine through the case's cut-out opening.
The case has a nice feel to it and will definitely keep the iPad from slipping around while I'm holding it. It's also thick enough to offer decent protection for the back of the iPad.
It does not cover the front of the iPad. While some reviewers consider that to be a drawback, I prefer to have the glass and beautiful display unobstructed. If you really want to cover the front of the iPad, I suggest purchasing a clear overlay like the "invisible shield".
The price is the only reason I give the Grip Vue four stars instead of five. There's no doubt that it's expensive. Personally, I'm willing to pay a little extra for a high quality case like this one, but I can understand why some people might feel that it's too pricey. If you want the best, buy this case. If you want something that's almost as good, but not quite, buy something cheaper. It all depends on how comfortable you are spending this much money on a case.
I love the Grip Vue and highly recommend it.
