(More customer reviews)Let me start off by saying that this is the first product review that I have ever submitted to Amazon. So here goes. If you are reading about this, you are certainly an iPad owner. And, you know all of the really special things that it can do, including a really "good" built-in battery. Knowing this here's why I couldn't reccomend this product any more highly than I did, just my opinions.
1. Having the ability to actually double the life of the battery on the iPad is incredibly liberating, not to mention helpful.
- I have two small kids, they love my iPad too. When we travel, they watch movies and play games on my iPad. BUT, I am always aware of the battery level as when we land I often have work to do on it. This product basically eliminates that worry. (unless we are flying realllly far away). Also, not needing to "stress" about battery consumption while working is great. I can use it all day for work and know that I will still have plenty of juice for magazines, books, surfing, etc when I get home. Plug it in before I go to bed, iPad syncs, both devices charge, voila.
2. It's a hard shell case as well.
- Not sure if they intended it to be, but it makes a fantastic case. While the pictures may not show it well, the case covers the entire back (obviously) but also all four sides. (please note there's not too much protection on the top, but it's there)
3. Syncing is a breeze.
- With many cases that I have, I need to remove this or that, in order to sync. What's great is that charging AND syncing happen simulataneously. Easy, smart and fast.
4. The stand.
- It works in portrait and landscape and foldes completely into the backing when not in use.
5. Grip.
- While I am sure that this was not planned, the cut out in the back for the apple logo to show through, it actually makes a great way to hang on to your iPad. Trust me, it makes it easier.
