(More customer reviews)I purchased this as a gift for my daughter who has become quite talented with sketching and drawing. Computers being more and more ubiquitous, it's only natural to want to draw with them. This was our intent. The pad functions well, but is clearly more integrated for a business environment. The stylus point is not quite firm enough to really control what comes out on the monitor -- part of its design to allow clicking. In addition, the focus of the stylus' cursor doesn't allow you to reposition it by lifting it moving it. It's as if the sylus cursor is mapped out to the exact size of the palette and is 'glued' to the last position the stylus was in.
It does function well (not buggy) but it's definitely not for the artist. Better for when you need to capture simple annotations and signatures.
It also requires a lot of practice time to learn how it responds.
