(More customer reviews)I think people tend to lose sight of something when reviewing this tablet and others like it, it's not meant for professional artists. It's not supposed to be compared to a normal tablet like a Wacom. We have a Wacom in our house, I don't use it (it's for the professional here), but I do use this one.
I've use it both for drawing while at my computer and while away from it. I prefer it as a normal tablet. But it's also good as a digital sketchpad of sorts, so long as you keep the paper in place while using it in that way. However, if you're ditzy like me, I suggest you remember to triple check to be sure you've switched the pen from the ink tip to the plastic one before going back to using it as a normal tablet, I won't mention how many times I came dangerously close to drawing, with ink, on the tablet itself.
If you review it for what it is and don't compare it to tablets that are purely tablets then it's fine. I give it 4 stars for what it is.
It loses one for two reasons --
1. The set up software isn't really intuitive and the manuals were frankly a mess
2. The pen took one fall onto a carpeted floor and cracked nearly in half. Yeah, I shouldn't have dropped it, but it happens and it cracking that badly that easily is bad. I did just tape it together, and ordered a new one, so it wasn't a huge deal. But, I will compare this one aspect of it to our other tablet and say its pen has been knocked onto a hardwood floor several times by a psycho kitty who likes to try to steal things, and that pen has never cracked even a bit.
If you want a tablet you can take with you anywhere and can't afford a tablet PC, this is fine. If you just want a tablet and don't care about portability or the extra feature of being able to draw/write on paper while having it also store digitally, go with a regular tablet like a Wacom.

Although this has lesser features, the apps are still suitable for field works and business presentations.
