(More customer reviews)I should have never bought this item for my iPad in the first place because the word on even Apple's support forum said their own camera connection kit doesn't work with the new IOS, 4.2.1. I bought this one anyway because it appeared HDE had somehow gotten their product to do the same thing as the Apple product and made it more convenient by combining the two pieces of the Apple product into one unit. Boy, was I wrong! Not only did the product not work after weak efforts by HDE to resolve the problem, HDE had the returned product for over two weeks and still wouldn't give me a refund! I had to waste my valuable time by getting Amazon involved by filing a claim! I even sent HDE a copy of the USPS delivery confirmation number showing the product was delivered and I still haven't received my refund! Biggest ripoff I have ever seen on Amazon.com and I was one of their first customers way back when when people really didn't trust Amazon.com!
My advice to you? Buy the Apple product after they have sorted the reason for the product's failings. DON'T BUY THIS ITEM FROM AMAZON or HDE!
