You need to calibrate the screen when you first get it to make the touchscreen responds as you expect it to. The SD slot leaves the card sticking out a little rather than flush with the edges. It does not have a camera, but the short description didn't say it had one so I wasn't surprised. The page the tutorial is on, does not open. After spending a little time figuring it out, I was able to download both the Kindle app and the NOOK app via the web and for me, I was looking for a ereader with some web options as well, so all in all, it is exactly what I need. The google apps are not the complete google apps but called AndAPPStore which has limited amount of apps. It does offer porn and sex apps, which I don't think is appropriate. The tablet is able to recieve updates that will allow for the full google app world when the update is available.
I'm having a problem with the battery charging but I think now that I have completely discharged it prior to charging it, that might solve the issue. The company I purchased from, Vostrostone, is very responsive via email to any issues and have offered a replacement charger or tablet if it comes to that. I hope it doesn't because I have it set up the way I want it and have downloaded some books to it that I want to start reading. I received the device within 5 days. I don't know why the warning about not being shipped till after Christmas and not to expect delivery till Jan. 18.
